How the calendar works, what a featured day means, and everything in between.
What can I launch?
Software products with a working public website: useful tools, small side projects, and established products starting a new chapter. You must own or represent the product and have rights to the content. We review for relevance, quality, and safety; illegal, harmful, deceptive, adult, gambling, and spam listings are not accepted.
Is a free listing really free?
Yes. Each product gets one free launch, a permanent profile, and a place on its launch date. A featured placement upgrades the same launch rather than creating a duplicate. There are no subscriptions, votes, or paid ranking guarantees.
What does “featured” mean?
One approved product can purchase the single paid featured position for a UTC calendar date. It appears in the homepage spotlight that day and is labeled as a paid placement. It does not promise a minimum number of visitors, clicks, sales, or search ranking.
Which timezone does the calendar use?
UTC, for everyone. A feature runs from 00:00 UTC inclusive until the next midnight exclusive. Before checkout we show the exact UTC window and your local equivalent. Your device timezone does not change the commercial booking date.
When should I submit?
Give review several days before your preferred launch date. Review timing is not guaranteed; the dashboard shows the current state. Paid featured dates can be booked only after approval and between 2 and 90 days ahead. An approved submission does not reserve a date.
Why did an open date become unavailable?
Calendar availability is advisory. Another founder may reserve the date first. The database transaction creates one 15-minute checkout hold; only one order can control that slot. Choose another open date if a hold or confirmed booking wins first.
What if I pay after the hold expires?
Your booking page reads verified server state. If payment arrives after the slot has been released or reassigned, or after the date has begun, it cannot displace another founder or buy a partial day. We record the payment and start a durable refund process, with support review if reconciliation is needed.
Can I change the date or cancel?
Dates are fixed after payment in this version. Request cancellation at least 48 hours before the UTC feature start using your booking page. A cancellation/refund and separate new booking replaces rescheduling. Platform-caused missed delivery is eligible for a refund or an agreed remedy. See the Refund Policy.
Can I edit a published product?
Yes. Editing creates a new draft revision for review. Your existing approved version remains public until a replacement is approved. Owners cannot overwrite approved media, URLs, or copy without a new review.
Where are voting, comments, and direct messages?
Launchday keeps things simple. There are no votes, public comments, direct messages, subscriptions, affiliate payouts, or AI generation in the first version. The product and its story take the lead.
